Clients and collague's testimonials
Luz is a responsible, intelligent and hardworking person. I met Luz Marina Sanchis during her translation internship at Estampable (Octopus S. L., Granada) in 2014 and, later, she worked under my supervision at Spanish Winery Bodegas Romero de Ávila Salcedo S. L. where she held the position of Translator-Interpreter and assistant in the Export Department with attendance to two major wine fairs in China, and numerous tastings and events with Asian clients in Spain. I would like to highlight her great responsibility, exhaustive compliance with deadlines, ability to work under pressure and great kindness in dealing with clients and colleagues.

As a lawyer, I have used Luz's services on several occasions, always obtaining a result of the highest quality and within the deadlines we agreed. Luz has always been able to adapt to the style and requirements that our clients or I have requested, interpreting impeccably the intended message and translating its meaning into the translation. Of course, I continue to count on her services and she is my go-to translator and that of our clients.

I occasionally need translations into Spanish, particularly recently after I spent some time there and needed invites, a Curiculum Vitae, references etc. in Spanish. Luz Sanchis has always been my go to person. Of course she is also able to share a lot of local knowledge of the country which she shares readily. I know she has a similar proficiency in Chinese and China. And she always has a smile and deals with people very warmly. She comes with my highest reccomendation. Lee Vince. Language teacher and Language proficiency examiner.
I've had the honor of working with Luz during my 3-month internship at MTS' Xiamen office. Luz was an attentive and caring manager, as she would often recognize my strength points as an intern and help me to develop these strengths. One project that stood out to me while working with Luz at MTS was the Home Away From Home: Stories from Foreigners in China. As head of the project, Luz would consider my input and even give me creative reign when it came to certain aspects, such as using different social media tools for promotion. All in all, Luz could be described as an amazing manager!

FAQ
Didn’t get an answer yet? No worries, here is my FAQ section. Please do reach out to me directly if there’s anything else I can help you with.
I do not offer sworn translations (for the time being!).
I do not offer notarizations or notarized translations, only official translations.
For notarized translations, consult with the Chinese, Spanish or your home country’s Consulate and they will provide you with a list of accredited notaries.
If you are looking for a sworn Chinese translator in Spain, you may find them directly in this list of translators from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It depends on the text or document you need translated. Please send it to me and I will give provide a quote, no strings attached.
We offer different payment methods like PayPal, US, Spanish or Chinese wire transfer, or payment by WeChat or AliPay if they are more convenient for you.
If your document is long and repetitive (an instruction manual, a contract) we can surely apply discounts for repetitions. Send me the file and I will analyze it with a repetition counting program to see if it meets this criterion, no obligation!
It depends. If you intend to cooperate with me in the medium or long term, the content of your documents is technical or complicated and you want to test my skills, I can offer you a test translation of up to 250 words or characters free of charge and without obligation. The deadline for the test will depend on how busy I am at the moment, priority will be given to ongoing projects.
Yes, although I am not a graphic designer, the company I cooperate with has in-house experts in this service, called DTP or Desktop Publishing. We can deliver your file identical or as close as possible to the original. It helps if your document is in editable formats like .indd from Adobe InDesign or Photoshop, but if you don’t have them it’s fine.
The company I work with is ISO17100:2015 certified, which certifies the quality of translation processes between European and Asian languages. I also apply this rigorous quality control standard in my work.
Although I have a master’s degree in English teaching for adults (former CAP) and a lot of experience teaching English, Spanish and even Latin, I am not currently teaching.
Yes, I am a member of ASETRAD, the Spanish Association of Translators, Proofreaders and Interpreters. On the other hand, Multilingual Technologies, the company with which I collaborate, is a member of ANETI (the Spanish National Association of Translation and Interpreting Companies), GALA (Globalization and Localization Association), ATA (American Translators Association), TAC (Translators Association of China) and ELIA (European Language Industry Association).
Automation helps us translate, and it can get you out of a jam to order an ice cream or ask for directions to that concert you don’t want to miss at Coachella or to the nearby library if you’re more of a reader, but it often leaves context or culture out of the equation and is not capable of working with certain text formats, let alone confidentiality isues. For more serious situations like selling your product abroad, revising your academic paper or translating a medical report, human translators are a safe bet. |
All of them! Documents .doc, .ppt, .pdf, .xls, .xdliff, text and graphics embedded in non-editable image files like .jpg, .jpeg and all their cousins, subtitle files, audio files to transcribe, content embedded in a web page, in a blog, in a TikTok video. I can do whatever you need.
